Siemens NX December 2024 Update: Smarter Assemblies, Advanced Lattices, and Streamlined Design Tools
Key Updates:
- Assemblies: Minimal load display options improve performance for large assemblies by controlling part visibility during loading. Enhanced drag-and-drop for joints and couplers and preserved constraints during component restructuring simplify assembly management.
- Lattice Structures: Designers gain greater control over lattice complexity with new blend options and field value settings. A new filter command helps remove downward dangling rods to optimize structural designs.
- Realize Shape: The new "Merge Faces if Possible" feature reduces face counts in subdivision bodies while maintaining original cage topology. The Chamfer Cage command allows users to add chamfers to subdivision cages with adjustable continuity and dynamic previews.
