BricsCAD V25.2: New Features and Enhancements
Key Highlights of BricsCAD V25.2:
- Enhanced 3D Modeling and Sectioning: Improvements in 3D sectioning performance and large model visualizations allow for better handling of complex designs.
- BIM Enhancements: BricsCAD BIM now supports IFC4 Architectural Reference Exchange Export Certification, enabling participation in public tenders requiring IFC4-certified BIM software. Additionally, user-requested productivity enhancements for parametric 3D modeling of BIM geometry have been included.
- Mechanical Design Improvements: The update introduces new and enhanced mechanical symbols and annotations for 2D drawings, now with integrated 2D FEA annotations for improved design analysis.
- Civil and Surveying Toolset Updates: Land surveyors can now import and export GIS data in KML or KMZ format, facilitating communication of project data with non-CAD users. A new command to offset Strings or 3D Polylines both horizontally and vertically has also been added.
